“Naples and New York are connected by the same 41st parallel. Historically, they are tied by a very old friendship which, also this  year, is supported by the Park to Park race, arrived at its Fourth  edition.
The event has been officially acknowledged as one of the happenings to celebrate 150th years of our national Unity www.utgnapoli.it. The classic 10 k race will take place on May 22nd and the prize to win is the II TROFEO INTERFORZE ITALOAMERICANO, which was won  by the Guardia di Finanza team in 2010 racing against other  powerful military teams and this year they’ll face each other again.
Indeed, all the athletes from Italian military organizations and Police Departments, who already raced last year, together with athletes  from DIA, Provincial Police of Naples and Zoo Guards will be  running. Also teams from Nato and US Navy will be racing and it seems (but it’s a secret) that there’ll be a surprise at the start coming from over the ocean.
All the participants – brothers in sport – will be wearing over their  racing uniforms the ITALIAN FLAG as a symbol of yesterday and today’s Italy.”
