“PARK TO PARK 2008”

The Napoli Road Runners Association, together with the C.R. FIDAL Campania, are the organizers of the 2nd edition of “Park to Park” for Sunday the 8th June, 2008”.

OFFICIAL REGULATIONS:
Sunday, June 8
10 km running race competition program
The judges and competitors will meet  in front of Virgiliano Park at 7.30am. The race will start at 9.00am regardless of the weather conditions.
Participation:
Entry is open to all athletes belonging to the categories ASSOLUTI – AMATORI – SENIOR MASTER M/F with regular FIDAL membership or membership in sporting promotion groups recognized by the FIDAL for the year 2008.
Enrolment:
Enrolment is open to 1000 participants only, and registration applications must be sent by fax to the number ++39 081/ 214 2995 by Thursday 31 May 2008, on the association’s letterhead and signed by the president or official representative of the association.  With this enrolment, the association approves and accepts all other regulations for the event published on the website: www.napoliroadrunners.it.
SUBSTITUTIONS OF ATHLETES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR THOSE WHO ENROL AFTER THE 3rd JUNE.

Enrolment fee:
The enrolment fee is € 6,00 .
All participants will be provided with a complete event pack;
Timing:
The race will be timed by the Federazione Italiana Cronometristi.
Times will be recorded and classifications will be elaborated with microchips for electronic readings, supplied by the TIMING DATA SERVICE.
At the end of the race the runners MUST HAND IN the microchips to race officials; those who do not hand in their microchip will incur a fine.  Within 15 days from the date of the event, athletes who are still in possession of the microchip with be charged €15 either personally or through their sporting association.
Refreshments:
 There will be a refreshment point at km 5 and at the arrival
Spugnaggio:
It 'a point of spugnaggio ° to 6 km,
Race bibs and chips:
The race bibs and chips can be picked up FRIDAY 6 and SATURDAY 7 JUNE from 2pm thru 8pm at the MARATONA center (TEATRO TENDA in Via Corrado Barbagallo ) by the representatives of the associations participating in the event (the bibs and chips cannot be picked up by individual athletes).
Assistance:
Technical and medical assistance will be guaranteed during the race and at the finish line.
The course:
The race course distance is 10.000 m., from Virgiliano Park  with the finish line in Villa Comunale.

Complaints

Complaints must be made according to the official regulations of the R.T. FIDAL and accompanied by a fixed fee of €25, which will be reimbursed in the case that the complaint is valid.
Prizes assoluti / amateur / senior master

Male and Female Category

Male and Female athletes classifying in the top 10 positions will receive the following cash prizes, divided as follows:
€ 200/190/180/170/160/150/140/130/120/110
Association Prizes
The top 10 classifying associations with at least 15 athletes who have finished the course will receive prizes.  The athletes who arrive at the finish line will receive points as follows: one point for the 1st, two for the 2nd, three for the 3rd, and so on to the last to arrive.
There will be only one classification per association and it will include both male and female athletes.
The cash prizes will be paid as follow:  € 1000/900/800/700/600/500/400/300/200/100

 Payment of premiums
Premiums individual absolute and category will be paid within 30 days after completing the appropriate form and reclaimed by the c / a bank or post office of the rights holders.
The premiums are paid by companies on September 30, 2008 with the same mode of individual premiums.
ARE NOT ALLOWED OTHER METHOD OF PAYMENT. IN NO CASE WILL BE PROVIDED SUMS FOR NO TITLE ON DAY OF RACE.
Special awards for athletes participating Project Filippide.
The awards except RAFFLE not be combined, athletes from the USA can not participate in the same RAFFLE, being at stake other type of lottery in the race for Central Park.
RAFFLE:
At the end of the race, among all those who have successfully completed the race and there will be deposited in special containers located at the point RAFFLE detachable section of pectoral, will be drawn 2 premium packages (1 Man + 1 Woman) to participate in the marathon in New York scheduled for 2.11.2008 (from 00/10/2008 to 00/11/2008 - the dates will be set after the communication of their personal data by the athletes winners of the draw).
The numbers of competitors extracts will be called three times, and will have to climb on stage awards to give immediate confirmation of identity and reflected athlete correspondent and acceptance of prize.
After the third unsuccessful appeal will be incidental to a new number, until year's prize.
The data above should be sent by e-mail, strictly within the 12.00 to the June 12 Naples Road Runners at info@napoliroadrunners.it. Subsequently to the winners within 3 days. Will be sent an email received communication. In case this does not happen, the winners are invited to contact the Association NRR telephone numbers 335 8014016-333 9192070. The winners must be fitted with suitable passport for entry in the USA. In case of failure to comply with this basic rule, the winner and / or the winner will lose the right premium.

The organisation may make in its sole discretion any changes and / or additions that are deemed appropriate.
